One Key at a Time - Rialto, CA

Corinne is an intermediate piano student who is offering Beginner to Intermediate piano and music lessons in Rialto, CA. She took piano lessons for 7 years, and has been playing piano for nearly 9 years. She has also taken a course in musicianship.

Lessons will consist of the fundamentals of reading music, recognizing keys on the piano, and learning how to sight sing. Each lesson will be catered to fit the student's preferences and abilities.

For students who are already proficient in sight-reading, or simply aren't interested in sheet music, an option of learning how to recognize and play chord inversions is available. Again, each lesson will be catered to fit the student's preferences and abilities.

For more intermediate students, key signatures, music vocabulary and intermediate pieces will be taught and assigned.

For the benefit of both the student and the teacher, the initial 1st to 4th lesson(s) will be on a trial basis. Some students just aren't ready and/or willing to learn, so there isn't much point in wasting their time and money on lessons.

Each lesson will be 30 minutes long, and will be taught once per week. Lessons will be taught in the teacher's home.
