New York Piano Academy is devoted to piano instruction for all - from the absolute beginner to the aspiring concert pianist. NYPA combines highly qualified instructors with a nurturing and supportive environment for children and adults. The result is a unique community where you'll grow and excel regardless of your background. We offer individualized one-on-one lessons in our Classical Piano, Jazz Piano, and Intensive Study programs, and present student recitals and performances by accomplished musicians at the Academy's New York City location throughout the year.

It is that poetry, spontaneous creativity, risk-taking, constant quest for the worlds within and beyond us, and combination of pianistic flair and discipline which have always sparked my imagination as a pianist, composer and piano teacher. These great pianists arose from the tradition of the great composers, who captured the entire essence of their time and place and coupled it with their own individualistic musical language. Those have been our teachers. They established the principles, and we are here to revitalize them.

I've taken lessons at the New York Piano Academy with the world renowned professor, concert pianist and outstanding composer, Dr. Ronn Yedidia. It was one of the most insightful, profoundly enlightening musical growing experiences I've had. Ronn is both, an accomplished pianist and composer who studied piano with the legendary pianist Pnina Zaltsman and composition with the acclaimed composer Milton Babbit himself, at Juilliard. Dr. Yedidia has that old school education that is so precious and rare these days.
He is a highly articulate teacher in the way that he is able to pass that on to his students. I would recommend piano students of any level, beginner, intermediate or professional to experience studying with Dr. Ronn Yedidia for themselves. Thank you from the depth of my heart!
