Naomi Fanshier Clarinet & Saxophone Studio Naomi Fanshier began has been playing clarinet for more than 20 years. She started playing tenor and alto saxophone soon after clarinet. While in high school, Naomi placed and won many solo/ensemble competitions. She was also included in Washington's All State Band, the Tacoma Youth Symphony Association, and played in many chamber ensembles.

Naomi was also honored as one of Seattle Symphony's gold medalists. Earning her Bachelor of Music degree in clarinet performance from Pacific Lutheran University, Naomi had served as co-principle in the University Symphony Orchestra, section leader in the Wind Ensemble, and as a member of the Madera Wind Quintet. She is presently the reeds coach for the Maple Valley Youth Symphony Orchestra, and recently served as a clarinet and bass guitar clinician for Tahoma Senior High School.

Naomi also coaches clarinet for Auburn Riverside High School and volunteers in the Tahoma School District and Kent School District band programs. Besides being a solo/ensemble contest adjudicator, Naomi also has experience in teaching private and group lessons.
