Music With Sally - Flute and Piano Lessons

Ms. Sally is both a great musician and an excellent educator! I've observed how patient, encouraging, and disciplined her staying of music education is and I admire her work so much! My daughter has her unique pace for improving and sometimes gets distracted with the surroundings, I've seen how masterfully Ms. Sally deals with my daughter's specific learning style and needs! We respect and appreciate Ms. Sally for the gift that she's sharing with us and with the community!

Sally is fantastic. I took lessons from her 30 + years ago. She helped me be successful in high school band, at contest, and in college band at Purdue. I am so glad she is still teaching and sharing her love of music and playing with others. Now, I have two daughters that are privileged to take piano and flute lessons with Sally. We appreciate her flexibility. When my youngest daughter expressed an interest in playing the flute at age 8, Sally made that dream happen and gave her the tools to be successful.

My daughter has taken flute/piano from Sally for almost 10 years. She has been a member of all district ensembles, Bloomington Normal youth symphony, many other music awards. All with the help of Sally. She has always been flexible with other activities and let us move times.

Our daughter has been working with Sally since 2018 for flute lessons & she has been an incredible mentor/teacher. She is professional, yet personable & encourages her students to work at the level that will help them grow into the performer she knows they can be. We highly recommend her & are so grateful someone shared her name with us!

Sally has been giving our daughter flute lessons since 2018. She is phenomenal and goes above and beyond for her students. Our daughter has grown leaps and bounds as a musician. I have been so impressed with how Sally takes the time to get to know her students and then motivates them to move from where they are to where she knows they can be. All three of my children have taken piano lessons from Sally and both of my daughters have taken flute lessons from her. We have been with her studio for the past 15 years and Sally has been the constant pillar in my children's musical education. To see them grow into talented musicians over the years has been so fulfilling! Sally is at the heart of their growth as musicians.

She has truly become a part of our extended family. Sally cares deeply about her students both musically and personally. Yes, she expects them to practice and take their instruments and lessons seriously. She is kind, loving, patient, flexible, and has always done a great job communicating with us. Whenever the kids needed a little extra help, Sally was more than willing to give it.

Whenever they were involved in contests, they were her priority as an accompanist. Sally gives so much of herself not only to her students but to the fine arts in our community as well. She has a heart of gold and we have been so blessed for all our children to have had Sally as such a large part of their musical education and journey. I have also been so grateful for the role model Sally with how she lives her life and as a community member. Her rates are extremely reasonable as well. Sally, thank you for everything!
