One-on-one mentorship is the essential foundation of learning the technique and artistry of music. Early childhood music lessons may begin at age 3-1/2. Traditional music lessons begin at the age of 5 to 6 years old in all instruments.
Our teachers are degreed music educators who specialize in teaching children and utilize a comprehensive curriculum to ensure that students learn essential skills and widely accepted repertoire.
Our year-round performance opportunities include four recitals each year, along with rock band and a cappella groups.

Our schools provide quality music and performing arts education to more than two thousand students each week. To provide the highest quality of education and service to our families, we employ degreed musicians and school administration staff who are fully supported by ongoing academic coordination.
Karaoke Parties - Our professionally equipped karaoke theaters include a full sound system, 4 microphones, 30 spotlights, and a 46 lyric projection TV. Up to 20 guests are included in the party fee. Choose from our large Karaoke library including pop and classic songs. Great for birthday parties and other celebrations!
In-Home Lessons

The in-home instructors we refer are selected through auditions, background checks, and references. In-home instructors are self-employed yet are expected to follow MTC's standards of professionalism, quality instruction, documentation of assignments, prompt reply to your inquiries, on-time arrival, and satisfactory dress code.

We had a great experience at the music training center. My son was about 3.5 when he started and has learned so much from his 2 teachers. Sarah and Annie. Sarah moves which is why we we switched to Annie. Both were great with young children and my son learned to read music! We have recently taken a break from music but I am sure we will be back.

We all absolutely love MTC!! They truly work so well with children young and older!! It’s been such a blessing for my daughters! They love it there! The best is that they offer so many different things like voice lessons guitar lessons other musical instruments performances and musicals summer camp!! Truly such a Warm, caring and professional environment!

My daughter started at MTC 8 years ago and we have loved every minute of it. She started with voice and piano lessons and while she had an interest in theater, she was nervous to give it a try. When she did eventually try theater, the entire staff at MTC were amazing. They were so encouraging and supportive and never made her feel uncomfortable. 4 years later, she is blossoming as a theater performer which is due to the way theater was introduced to her by the staff at MTC. Carlos, the theater director, not only focuses on the show they are performing, he teachers kids all aspects of theater, from auditioning, blocking, using emotion, etc. - his goal is for kids to understand all that is involved in putting on a show.
From the front desk staff, to management and to every instructor, MTC staff is wonderful, professional, dedicated and nurturing. It really is a wonderful place for all musical interests.

When I was younger I performed in numerous plays here, now my brother is attending and doing musicals here and It does not even compare to what It once was. It was terrible. The director Carlos criticized numerous students, all of which are 9 or 10 years old, especially my brother who was the lead role and was very stressed out over the situation. Also, the production quality was not even close to what It once was.
Now all the students say "line" in the final performance, never did this happen when I attended this training center. The ownership should be ashamed of what It allows their employees and teachers to do, and how the program has changed since I have left the program. Absolutely disgraceful!

I cannot say enough about the wonderful experiences that my family has had and continues to have at the Music Training Center in Marlton. My daughter wanted to start acting and a friend referred us to MTC. Both my daughter and my son have performed in their shows. Carlos has been so helpful, encouraging, and inspiring to them. As a former director, I understand the difficult line that a director walks wanting to encourage actors and wanting to hold them accountable for their responsibilities to the show. Carlos does this really well.
He challenges the children to be their best and gives them notes (as is a director's job) to let them know where they can improve. He is approachable, kind, and caring. My children know that they can always talk to him about concerns or questions that they have. MTC is, as I tell everyone, a safe place for children to learn to experience the theatre.
They don't have to worry. They do their best and the teachers are proud of their accomplishments. If children have difficulty remembering a line, it can be scary for them. The children at MTC know that Carlos has their backs and he will feed them the line so that they can continue the show the best way that they can. My son worries about learning his lines before a performance, but he is confident the day of the show, because he knows that Carlos is there for him.
I recommended MTC for anyone who has a child who may be interested in theatre or who needs help with public speaking and wants practice being in front of a crowd. My children have made wonderful friendships with the other children at MTC. The casts become like a family. I also want to say that my daughter takes voice lessons with Catherine, who has helped her to grow as a singer and enabled her be more confident in herself and her singing.
My daughter also takes private acting/auditioning lessons with Carlos. He has helped her believe in herself and her talent. Ann runs the school well. She cares about her students and she wants them to have the best possible experiences. The summer camp program at the Marlton Music Training Center is wonderful. My daughter had the best experience there! Each week the kids learn a new play, and by the end of the week they put on an amazing production. The teachers there are truly talented and gifted at what they do. These kids learn so much and they have such a good time doing it! We will absolutely be doing it again next summer.
It's an excellent program and the kids have a ball. I can't say enough good things about this place. It doesn't matter if your child is a beginner or if your child has done lots of plays and singing before. Every child gets a chance to learn all about the theater, every child gets a chance to shine, and best of all every child gets to have FUN!

What an amazing place! Our daughter takes voice and electric guitar at MTC in Marlton, NJ. We are constantly impressed at how it has given her confidence and a feeling of accomplishment as she works through her classes and recitals. The staff at MTC are amazing.
