I was in NYC on business and needed professional musicians to help with a project I was working on. Specifically, I needed top musicians for flute, clarinet, alto sax, trumpet, cello, violin, and guitar. Within 12 hours from first contact with Vincent, Corinne was onsite with her flute, sax, and clarinet. The next day, Vincent lined up the remaining musicians. And these just weren't your run of the mill "ok" musicians. Joe the trumpet player just finished up playing in a nationwide tour of Bullets over Broadway and is a top tier jazz musician. Ben's cello technique and tone would fit in any professional orchestra, and Marc was on just another level altogether. He's a substitute musician for Mean Girls and School of rock, and just landed his first full time off broadway gig. Need violin or guitar? Any style he's your man. But back to Vincent - thank you!! You made the impossible look easy.

We had a seamless experience with Music to Your Home! It was easy to book a teacher to come and the two teachers that we work with were both excellent. Our daughter is 4 1/2 years old and has come such a long way in just a few months playing guitar.

We have had a great experience with Music to Your Home. My husband has been looking to take piano lessons for ages, but I wasn't sure where to find a good teacher. After seeing ads on yelp, I contacted MTYH and Tracy responded almost immediately. She explained the entire process and made it very simple to 'try out'. My husband clicked immediately with his teacher and has been taking lessons for nearly six months. I can't say enough about our teacher Daniel, Tracy or Music to Your Home. If you're looking for a music teacher, I would absolutely recommend them!

Our daughter started taking weekly piano lessons over a year ago, when she was just 4 and a half. Her instructor, Alex, is professional, accomplished, personable, and knows exactly how to engage and instruct such a young student. Our experience has been phenomenal from the very beginning and we are continually impressed by our daughter's progress in terms of her musical ability and appreciation. We cannot recommend Music To Your Home's instruction highly enough!

Music to our home found the perfect piano teachers for my sons. He adapted to 2 boys with different learning styles and different musical tastes. He manages to offer each ones a personalized lesson and while being fun and friendly, is still capable to be demanding and makes them both study musical theory seriously. As a working parent, the fact that the teacher comes to our home is of course a big plus: one less commute to organize! We love it!

Customer Testimonials

I have twin 9 year old boys who have taken guitar and ukulele lessons at school for two years. This semester we decided to try something new -- we tried Music To Your Home. We were delighted with our experience! Tracy sent a wonderful young instructor who taught both guitar and ukulele. He was patient, fun, flexible, kind, professional and always on time. The kids really enjoyed their lessons and I didn't have to shuttle back and forth to take kids to their lessons. What more can anyone ask for?

My five year old son just started violin lessons with Music to Your Home and we can not speak highly enough of this company. His teacher is very patient and I can already see the progress they are making. His teacher Jarod is punctual and knows exactly what to say to motivate my son. I feel very comfortable having him in my home each week.

We love everything about Music To Your Home. It's amazingly convenient, easy to book classes, timely response, no hassle signing up at all. AND my son's instructor is wonderful - "patient, congenial, very respectful, fun and a great teacher" per my 13 yr old son

Really great people who run a very professional and high level business with excellent teachers. Glad to have been working with them for the past few years!!

Very easy to arrange and professional. My 11 year old daughter and her two friends are loving it--the teacher is very talented, easy to work with, and the girls are learning a lot and singing up a storm!

Great experience for my two grade school children. My mom decided to start up piano again in her 70s and absolutely loves it!!!

Both of our sons have taken piano lessons from Music To Your Home for the past 7 years. We have found this company to be extremely professional, with wonderful music teachers. Our sons have continually gotten better with their instruments over the years. They have been encouraged and supported by their music teachers. We are very happy with Music To Your Home and highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in learning a musical instrument! We are very pleased with this company!

They came to my home and the instructor was amazing! My child seemed to learn very quickly. Reasonably priced and so worth the convenience! I highly recommend you contact them and see what they can do for you and your family!

Incredibly convenient and efficient. Starting to make real progress after only a few lessons! Pricing is fair for what you get and payment is automatic, couldn't be easier. My teacher Matt is the best - very nice, knowledgeable, and most importantly...patient! I'd recommend to anyone looking learn an instrument with a busy schedule like myself

Having an incredibly professional & knowledgeable teacher come to our home to teach us piano lessons is a blessing. Couldn't be happier with the lessons.

Music To Your Home has been life changing for my kids. Never did I think that my son & daughter would look forward to playing and practicing the piano & the guitar as much as they do now. Their instructors are professional, talented, and extremely patient with my children, and it has paid off. Because of Music To Your Home both of my kids are excelling at playing their instruments and truly enjoy every lesson they receive. I can't say thank you enough!

Music to your home has been so wonderful for my 3 boys ages 4, 5 and 7. They are learning piano from their teacher Seth in a fun, engaging and exciting way. I love the flexibility and convenience of the teachers coming to my home - and highly recommend giving it a try!

We have had two teachers from Music to your Home over the past few years for piano and voice lessons. It's convenient and the teachers are first class! Definitely recommend them!!

Easy, painless scheduling and payment with excellent quality, reliable teachers. My 10 yo daughter is making great strides in learning piano--finally!

Both of my nephews take lessons with Music to Your Home. The six year old takes guitar and the nine year old takes violin. Last spring they each played a song at my wedding. Their teachers prepared them perfectly and both boys were extremely confident and it made the wedding extra cool.

Because the lessons are in our home, it’s been a very relaxed, enjoyable experience for our son and that was important to us. His former teacher was great, but Sevgi has pushed him to an entirely different place musically. Sevgi’s professionalism and enthusiasm for music is inspiring and she has brought our son’s piano playing to another level.

Music To Your Home has been a blessing to our parish and our young members. They have been extremely easy to work with as far as scheduling and pricing and they are totally concerned with customer satisfaction. Their priority in delivering a great experience at a great price, is above and beyond what has been expected. They provide a prompt and courteous response to questions and needs, and also go the extra mile to ensure all has been going well and will continue to do so. Thank you Music To Your Home for providing our young members a chance to learn at their pace and at their time.

People say that learning how to play a violin is difficult and that finding the right music school in New York City to learn from is equally not easy as you might think. The reason is just that people do not know the best way to learn this instrument. Music classes are not like the normal academic classes where you need to follow some strict schedule and deadlines. It is the ability to learn at your individual pace and in an environment that suits you that will determine whether or not you will be successful.

Did you know the saxophone was invented by Adolphe Sax in 1846? As far as musical instruments go, it's pretty new to the scene! The saxophone is a single reed woodwind instrument whose sound and tone are made by players tightening his or her mouth around the mouthpiece and pressing notes on the body of the instrument. Teachers are not the ones who help you complete a course - they are the people who help you to learn. Learning here does not refer to only remembering a few lessons here and there but toengrain it in your heart, to think and come up with your responses, to stir your creative and rational self.

You've chosen the flute because you're a history buff. You just can't seem to wrap your head around the idea of the flute being one of the earliest known instruments, dating back to around 43,000 years ago! These instruments obviously are not the modern flute we think of today. They were made from animal bones or tusks with holes in them. Even back then, people were moved to make music and came up with creative ways to do it besides using their voices. But, it seems more likely that you have a kid who just got asked to choose an instrument for their school band and flute is what they picked.

Our handpicked music teachers come from all different backgrounds and have wide experience in variety of instruments. Some of our teachers have even toured with some of the greatest artists known around the world.

Nice choice, the world needs more bass players! Before you start your musical journey you should definitely learn a little something about your new instrument. There are several types of basses used for many different styles of music. The original form of the bass is called the double bass, contra bass or upright bass. This instrument looks like a giant violin. It can be played with a bow or you can play it by plucking it with your fingers. This type of bass is used in orchestral music, jazz and sometimes even rock music.
