Music Lessons by Landon

I am a classically trained pianist currently accepting beginning to intermediate players ages 6 and up. I am also a trained, professional, experienced stage performer, Mezzo Soprano trained and offering lessons in: Classical voice, Broadway, Mix, Belt, Jazz and Theory. I am currently accepting beginning to advanced students ages 6 and up (for piano) and 10 and up (for voice). I offer half hour lessons private lessons once a week in the comfort of my home studio in Rocklin.

I have been playing piano for 19 years and have been classically trained. I have been teaching piano for 6 years.

I have been singing for 19 years and have been trained in Classical voice, Jazz, Broadway, Belt, Mix, and Theory. I have been teaching voice for 5 years.

My Bachelor's degree is in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Teaching.

I have taken voice lessons throughout my life, but have never found a teacher as capable, knowledgable, or as good as Athena. Athena is extremely knowledgeable about the technical side of the voice, and how proper breathing and breath support can have a drastic impact on the quality of your sound. She knows many exercises that all focus on specific aspects, and teaches them in a easily understandable way.

For the breadth of his experience and ability, landon is amazingly patient with beginners (like me...). His encouraging demeanor and encyclopedic knowledge of all things music make learning fun. If I have one criticism, it is this: he makes being a multi-instrumentalist seem way too easy!!
