Very rude staff! I would send my kid to place where they actually have good souls to teach music.

Looking for another music school. Frustrating experience over the years. High music teacher turn over. Teacher txting on cellphone during class. Inconsistent teaching system. Inconsistent billing system. Continue ask students to come to school during covid lock down. Truly frustrating.

The front office of Music Land School is a mess. The school is using a very old bookkeeping method. Some of front office girls are inexperienced, impolite to kids or parents, slow in response, couldn't keep absent/vacation/credit record straight, and sometimes questioning parents causing upset. No comment on quality of teaching because honestly I don't know. However, we almost never got any formal feedback on how our kids were doing, even though our kids have been going to this Music Land School learning piano for three years now.

I would NOT, I repeat, NOT, recommend this music school. When they need your money, they come after you non-stop. When you ask them to credit your account or refund money, they don't respond to emails. When you call their staff, you keep getting different answers. Very UNPROFESSIONAL.

We sent our 2 kids to this school to take weekly piano lessons for more than 3 years, so we knew this school inside and out. To summarize: Incompetent! Our kids took weekly lessons on Saturday, so we always pre-pay tuition based on how many weeks (Saturdays) in the coming month. For example: If it's a 5 weeks month, we pay $65 x 5 = $325, minus credits from last months if we or teacher cancelled a lesson for whatever reasons (holidays, sick, emergency.). Simple, right? However, it often took a while time for staff members to figure out how much $$$ tuition need to be paid coming month.

I can tell their book keeping method was very old. Still, every month we bring a blank check to the school, the staff member tell us how much $$ we should pre-pay for the coming month, we write down the same exact $$ amount on the check and pre-pay them. In other words, we always pre-paid in full. We've paid them over $10,000 dollar in tuition in last 3 years!

For some reason they could enter dispute with parents, that's what happened to us. Enough is enough, so we decided to drop this school and go with other teacher in Fremont area. However, they refuse to re-fund pre-paid tuition to us for credit remain in balance. As of now, they still withhold our pre-paid tuition, and it's more than 3 months old now. Stay tuned.

Late teachers all the time and front office is incompetent in addressing the issue. Also teachers seem too mechanical in their lessons and my daughter was bored most of the time. The school doesn't seem to care much about the quality of the lessons given. Lack of passion and enthusiasm in how they teach. Signs everywhere reminding to make sure payments are timely else a late fee is charged. Too bad customers couldn't apply the same rules to them we probably would have not had any balance due. Needless to say we ultimately cancelled our lessons.

This place is terrible. My son started with one teacher for private lessons, and the teacher was always 10 to 15 min late. The class was only 30 mins. I told myself fine. It was early in the morning. A lot of people have hard time to get up. This lasted for about 2 months. One day we were waiting for 20 mins, and then the front desk told us the teacher was sick.

I was so upset. How come they did not tell me earlier. The manager called me after to apologies. The very next class, the teacher showed up 27 mins after the class schedule. We tried of her, and changed to another teacher. The teacher was good. However, she missed one class every single month. If she couldn't meet her commitment to teach during weekend, just don't waste our time. I think just the management doesn't know how to manage their business.

My kids wanted to go a little unconventional with their choice of first instruments to learn (violin and ukelele). This place is by my parents' house and I called to see if they had instructors at the same time to meet our needs. Wed at 5:30 - 30 min lesson for both? Awesome! Prices are reasonable, the boys want to continue (a great sign) and everyone has been nice there. I hope the quality and interest continues on both sides!
