Mike is the absolute man, he put new stainless steel frets in my 1980's Ibanez shredder and make me love it even more. He knows his craft and I have gotten compliments on his work from every guitarist I have let play the guitar. He's very diligent and I've been trying to decide between recommending him to friends or keeping him to myself. I drive in from out of town (200km) and the drive is very much worth it. I'll be a repeat customer and wouldn't think to take my guitars to anyone else from here on out. Thanks Again Mike

Ok so not to sound too " positive" in my review, but I have not come across a better luthier in Canada then Mike! His knowledge, level of craftmanship and professionalism is demonstrated in spade's when you receive your guitar back. Price points on repair's is very reasonable for the exceptional work you get. I moved to the area and was looking for a good tech, Mike got great reviews and I can now say it's not hype - Mike at the Peghead is as solid as they come. He is a great guy, great work and at a reasonable price. I will be bringing all my work to him in the future and I would recommend him to anyone.

Mike Spicer is an exceptional tech. I came all the way from Barrie and he knows his stuff very well. He is also a luthier. Don't be fooled by the words "guitar setup" at big box stores. Mike will make your guitar play the way you want to whatever it takes.

Simply the best guitar repair anywherer. My 50 year old Gibson was destroyed and Mike brought it back to life. I do not exaggerate when I say what others refused to even attempt, Mike fixed perfectly. Someone should do a video like Carmine Street Guitars about Peghead, it is that good. Not a fancy place, just great work at very reasonable prices.
