I have found your approach in this short period of time to be exactly what I was hoping for (without knowing exactly what I was seeking), and you have provided direction for learning and exploration that has been appropriately demanding and easily applied. Ken didn't interfere with the development of my sound but rather guided it, or in many cases enhanced it, and sped up the overall process of its creation. He helps you become a musician, someone who can play other songs or write your own, learn to improvise on the spot, and become a performer.

Before LGS (Littleton Guitar School), I had been learning to play guitar by watching Youtube videos and playing with friends. After about two and a half years I hit a plateau. I found LGS online and it was close to me, so I signed up for a meeting with Ken. He understood my situation and explained how lessons would help me achieve my objectives. After taking lessons for a year and a half I am now opening for Lady Gaga! Well, that is not true, but I am playing with my church band, I have learned how to practice effectively, and I can find notes, chords and scales all over the fretboard.

I am also writing my own songs. I would have been better served to have started taking lessons a lot sooner because I have had to unlearn a lot of bad habits. LGS and Ken have made a big difference in playing and I would recommend this school for anyone interested in learning to enjoy playing the guitar.

I've been attending lessons at Littleton Guitar School for over two years now, and it has been a very meaningful experience. Ken is a very dedicated teacher and is also a professional musician himself, so he has experience as an artist! He designs lessons in way that can reach learners where they are in their playing while also providing a jam-like space and experience.

The lessons are a wonderful and balanced mix of both learning and playing! When I started taking lessons, I didn't really know how to play guitar at all. Two years in, I have a firmer grasp of all types of chords, different rhythms and styles, and which chords sound good together. Ken has been very encouraging through the whole journey while also giving pointed, sincere feedback that can be integrated in playing, soloing, and song writing.

I highly recommend this place to anyone, whether you're trying to make a career for yourself or if you want a setting to jam in with good people once a week. Ken teaches in a very intentional way and he holds a very communal space in which to experience music!

I have been a student at Littleton Guitar School for just over two months. I have played guitar for decades. Although I was comfortable with how I could play, I didn't realize what a rut I was in and how "stuck" I was at my level of playing. In the course of only two months, Ken has already expanded my level of playing with barre chords, pentatonic scales, and knowledge of the entire fret board. He has also taught me how to productively use my practice time. He teaches in a format that is challenging yet always a lot of fun. Highly recommend.

A little over a year ago I started lessons with Ken. When we started, I knew there were strings on the guitar, and that was about it. Since then my guitar playing journey has been steady with a lot of fun woven in. The passion, patience, and humor that Ken brings to my lessions is motivating and is always a highlight of my week. Thanks!, Ken!

My 3rd grader has been taking lessons at Littleton Guitar School for over a year. He continues to love it and leaves his lesson every time more confident in his abilities and excited to play. We are so thankful to have been recommended to Littleton Guitar School and would do the same in a heart beat.

I have been carrying a guitar around with me for a large part of my life, half-heartedly moving from one self-instruction program to another.with no real results. However, since I have been taking lessons from Ken for the last 18 months my technique, playing ability and understanding of music construct has accelerated.and in a way that is fun and cool. Ken focuses on teaching me the skills to play the kind of music I want to play, while building a fundamental understanding of what goes into the construct of music.

His instruction methods allow you to move from understanding and building playing technique for rhythms to laying down bass lines to free-form solo. Ken adapts his teaching to the progress of my playing and continuously challenges me to expand my playing as my skills progress. I have gained so much confidence in my playing from Ken.to step out from "playing in the closet" to feeling good about playing for others. Ken is passionate about guitar and music and teaching guitar to his students.

He makes learning guitar fun. I find myself always excited after a lesson to get home and practice. He offers a great proprietary website resources, regular jam session opportunities, personalized response to questions between lessons, and focused seminars. I wholeheartedly recommend Ken if you are looking to pick-up the guitar for the first time or want to significantly advance your skills and confidence in playing the guitar.

I have been going to Ken's guitar classes for approximately a year. Ken's approach to teaching the guitar has helped me to quickly learn the fret board, gain more feel in my playing, and progress in my ability and knowledge in a "user friendly" manner. I suggest you give him a try.

I have been taking lessons with Ken K at Littleton Guitar School for 10 months. I have had a guitar for almost 40 years. About 2 years ago I finally decided to play it. I tried youtube videos and made some progress. After a year I got lessons with a different instructor. After a monthof those lessons, I realized I really wanted to learn guitar, and I needed to find an instructor who would help me.

A friend turned me on to Ken. After our intiial interview I knew Ken could help me. I have not been disappointed. His lessons help me learn and love the guitar. He has taught me some cool songs, but Ken's genius lies in the fact he teaches you "how to play the guitar" not "how to play songs". I am amazed at the depth of knowledge and skill Ken is able to share.

I have grown a lot as a guitar player. I enjoy playing for my family and friends and at jams that Ken has organized. Do yourself a favor; ditch Marty and the youtube videos and learn from Ken. You won't regret it!

I have taken lessons at Littleton Guitar School for over two years. In that time, I have improved significantly as a player, matured my approach to playing, and enriched my enjoyment of playing guitar. Ken has helped me to achieve my goals as a musician, while keeping it fun. Because I had some experience playing when I started, Ken really focused in on correcting some of my bad habits that were holding me back while also giving me new perspectives and ways to approach playing. I would highly recommend Littleton Guitar School not only to beginners, but also to those who want to take their playing to the next level.

Before finding Littleton Guitar School, I struggled for years as a self-taught guitarist - never able to "turn the corner". After watching and experiencing the amazing job that Ken has done teaching my daughter guitar, I decided to enroll myself. Ken has helped me become the musician I've always dreamed to be. He's an amazing teacher that will help bring out the creativity and passion in your playing.

I started taking lessons from Ken about 2 years ago. Ken has improved my soloing, taught me how to play barre chords, and has taught me many scales. He is a great teacher but an even better person. I felt good knowing I could talk to him as a friend, not a teacher. He has inspired me both as a musician, and as a person. I guarantee by choosing Ken as your teacher you won't be making a mistake.

His teaching method accommodates any level of student, while challenging you to take it to the next step. His knowledge and mastery of the guitar is absolutely outstanding! He is dedicated and passionate about the instrument! As a wonderful teacher, performer, and mentor, I would not contact anyone else than Ken for advice and direction regarding anything to do with enjoying the great instrument of guitar!

At first in playing the guitar, I was timid at best. I wouldn't play for anyone but Ken, for fear I'd fail. Now that I'm taking steps to record my own music, I jump at the chance to play in front of others. I wouldn't be able to do either of these things without Ken and all he taught me over the years!

My name is Spencer and I am 10 years old. I have been taking guitar lessons with Ken K for four years. I wanted to learn to play the guitar because whenever I hear a guitar it sounds awesome to me. Ken K is the best teacher.
