Keiki Crescendo is offering classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners and piano instruction from age 6.
We are pleased that you are considering music classes for your kid.
Research has indicated that we are all born with an aptitude for music, but that aptitude diminishes if it is not actively nurtured between the ages of birth and nine.
The Musikgarten classes provided at Keiki Crescendo are made to nurture the child's music aptitude by engaging children and their families in singing and movement activities which help attune the ear, refine the voice, and develop a rhythmic body through which music can be expressed. Additionally, instrumental activities are part of the classes, ranging from playing simple rhythm instruments such as sticks and drums for babies and toddlers to playing keyboards for older children.
Musikgarten is the only program that provides curricula for newborns through group piano instruction. It is based on a keen understanding of how children learn, in both a general sense and, specifically, how they learn music.
As you familiarize yourself with our class offerings and learn more about Musikgarten, we look forward to answering your questions and welcoming your family into our music studio.

Claudia is originally from Germany, but has lived in Hawaii since 1994. She grew up in a "Sound of Music" family and has studied piano, voice, guitar and ukulele.
She is licensed by Musikgarten, an internationaly renown program for Early childhhood music education, to teach Babies through age 9.
I have a 2 year old boy that I wanted to find activities for us to do together. We have tried both kids music classes in the Kailua area, and will definitely be returning customer's of Keiki Crescendo. Miss Claudia clearly does put so much time, effort and thought into each class session. She uses a variety of props and instruments that keeps my toddler interested and engaged. She does have a way with children; she is engaging and patient and makes a genuine "connection" with each of them, even as she is teaching and guiding them! My son loves her and is so excited for each class! I especially love how many of the activities involve the children using their imagination with movement and music; many I find my toddler memorizing and repeating outside of class! For me, it is worth moving my schedule around so that my son can attend Miss Claudia's class. I also HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Claudia's music classes have been the highlight of our week!! My kid lights up with all the singing and dancing, and TBH, I have a ball too! Claudia is so loving and passionate, she brings so much joy and color to her classes. It was a great space for my kid to learn about things like making friends, taking turns, coordination, counting, and being creative, and for the 2 of us to have some fun bonding time outside of home. Highly recommend!
Claudia's music classes are educational and fun! I loved visiting this past summer and would recommend her program to all of my friend with young children and babies in Hawaii!
A nurturing musical environment with a gifted and natural host. A fun creative place to influence music magic and miracles with your children. Timeless and so special Vera. Highly recommended
From Our Website
As of 3/23 /20 20 classes are held on a virtual platform ZOOM, on which we have a video conference call. All families use their own instruments ( pots, pans, cereal box, pencils, kitchen towel, small container filled with beans or rice). To be able to be added to the participants list, you must first create an account with Zoom.com (apple and windows), then be registered for class, so Ms Claudia can send you an invitation to the meeting 15 min prior to class. Drop-ins must text by 9:40am. In the time you are waiting for everybody to 'come' to class, you can also look at keikicrescendo posts on Youtube.
