Jason is a muilti-instrumentalist and songwriter and is currently accepting students both in Athens and Dahlonega, GA. Having taught in music stores and privately since 2005, he is known for his patience with the young and old alike and for his personalized instruction meeting individual needs from the most basic beginner to the advanced musicians searching for something new. Offering private lessons for guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, songwriting, and music theory. The atmosphere is calm and encouraging and the lessons are designed for the student to succeed.

North Georgia’s Jason Kenney (Corey Smith, Dappled Grays, HomeGrown Revival) is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who has been playing music professionally for eight years. He has put out three full length albums and collaborated on many others including Corey Smith's "In The Mood" and "The Good Life".
For his latest project, he teamed up with the legendary fiddler David Blackmon formerly of Widespread Panic and Jerry Reed. In March of 2012, they released their first album as The Kenney-Blackmon String Band entitled "The Singing Tree" which was recorded and produced by John Keane (R.E.M., Indigo Girls, Widespread Panic, Taj Mahal).
Jason has shared the bill with Jonathan Byrd, Amy Ray (Indigo Girls), The Carolina Chocolate Drops, Kevin Kinney, Darrell Scott, and The Atlanta Ballet.
