The crown jewel of Huntsville arts. Multiple series, classical, pops, casual classics to suit everyone's taste. Engagement with the community, free family concerts, encouragement of young musicians, school programs.

I have had many wonderful experiences at the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra performances. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. Bruckner? That was awful.

Mind blowing, mind expanding wonderful concert last night! The amazing Chris Coletti. a whole new perspective on the trumpet. WOW AND kudos to the entire HSO and Maestro Vajda. Amazingly difficult and yes lengthy piece but marvelous playing and musical interpretation. Heart and soul touched in 2nd movement! Thank you thank you

Very average. A couple sitting behind us talked for the first 10 minutes solid. Someone working there should have asked them to be quiet. Might have been more enjoyable if we could have heard the music without interruption.

Disappointed By Your Concert Saturday I have left messages and tried calling your offices several times regarding the John William's Concert Saturday evening. The venue is outstanding with comfortable seats easy access to the portals great sight lines and clear acoustical brilliance. BUT. Why would you put on a tribute to John William's w/o including several pieces of his masterpiece from Shindler's List?

It especially timely with 2020 being the 75TH anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Sixty nations were just in Jerusalem memorializing 6 million souls at Vad Yashem. Your music sounded wonderful. It's nice that Darth Vader was celebrated along with other movie characters but missing such a seminal anniversary of history was beyond the pale and a big DISAPPOINTMENT. Victor Hugo: "Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent."

What an outstanding performance Saturday April 14, 2018 at the ET movie/concert! Playing the movie and having the orchestra play the music live - was a thrill to experience. I can definitely say the credit roll was the best I have ever heard at the end. as the orchestra played the main overture under the credits. I absolutely love how the HSO kicks off every show with the National Anthem. And I love even more. the fact that virtually everyone in the audience sang along - at a louder than expected level. What a wonderful show. Loved it!

They are a skilled group! Their last concert of the Spring season featured two very difficult pieces--one by Schumann, the other by Strauss--with regards to speed and finger placement. They rose to the challenge and performed marvelously!
