Oderlyn is a young musician but she has been studying music since 1993 and the flute since 1995 which means that she has enough knowledge to pass on in these lessons. Moreover, she has the energy a student needs in order to feel encouraged. She has studied classical music since she started learning music. Even if you or your child are interested in popular music, the classical music is the foundation, you learn to play with a good and clear tone or sound and obtain the technique that you need to play any other music. In fact Oderlyn as an entertainer plays both classical and popular music.
The Lessons take place in Miami Gardens (next to Miami Lakes) or at the student's home depending on the location.
Piano lessons are offered at the student's home or at Oderlyn's flute and piano studio. Although she majored in Flute Performance, Oderlyn's first instrument at age 8 was the piano and she continued studying it along with the flute for years at the Guillermo Tomas Music Conservatory, La Habana, Cuba.
When pursuing the Bachelor Degree in Music Performance, it was also a requirement to take two more years of Piano lessons as it is a very imporant instrument to know as a musician. Aside from teaching flute, Oderlyn also teaches piano at both schools, The School of Music and Orchestra in Doral, Fl and Jammin' Kids in Weston, Fl.
Beginners and Intermidiate students are welcome to take private piano lessons. 1 hour and 30 minutes lessons available, these may also be combined with flute lessons.
