Ms. Sara and Excel Music have gone above and beyond to support our daughter since she started learning piano there a few years ago. Especially since the beginning of covid, they have been flexible, supportive and communicative. We appreciate their dedication to their students and perseverance through this very trying time!

Just wanted to thank my daughter's piano Teacher Ms Bari at Excel. She took Piano classes when we were in Tampa and then we moved back to India in Feb 2021. Now here every one who listens my daughter playing is in full praise for her teacher. She taught and worked very hard with her. Thank you and to everyone at excel music. You all helped us the best. Sending Good wishes from here in India.

My experience with Excel Music has been great from the beginning. Office staff are kind and communicate well. I was lucky to have Mr. Greg as my cello teacher. Transition to virtual lesson was smooth and there hasn't been any issues. My daughter also started viola lesson with Mr. Greg during the summer. It is still enjoyable and good quality lessons even though it is virtual. We look forward to many more lessons!

Below is the experience of my daughter who is studying violin at Excel Music ---------------------------------------------------------------- In my humble opinion, learning violin in person itself is hard. But, now making it online, it will be even harder. But Excel Music has done everything it can to make my classes easier. I am grasping the concept and the music very easily through virtually.

Their new app called "Teacher Zone" is very helpful. I can talk to my teacher and ask her for help, I know which assignments that I am supposed to practice, my scheduled classes and the dates. Lastly, it has a practice timer which tracks how many minutes I practiced each day and tells you the total hours you have been practicing during the week, and in whole.

My teacher, Mrs. Brittnay has been working so hard to teach me new music and she helped me improve in a lot of areas in my violin. Every Saturday at 11:00am my class starts, and it ends at 12:00pm. But, in that one hour, I learn so much of new topics and concepts in my violin. Mrs. Brittnay is a very kind and helpful teacher. I learn songs and music sheets without any difficulty in understanding anything.

She answers my questions, she also even lets me suggest new songs which she can help me learn by sending me the notes. Excel Music has been doing a wonderful job and will keep doing an excellent job. Teaching students virtually is difficult and challenging, but Excel Music has been excelling at it so far.

Not open for business during COVID. No mention of this online or otherwise. Definitely taking our business elsewhere as there is no need to close down shop. It's September.put on a mask and open up.

Due to COVID-19, we had to leave out of state and bringing a piano with us wasn't at the top of our list of things to bring. I contacted the school via email the morning of the lesson and they stated that we wouldn't be able to make up the lesson because we didn't notify them 24 hours in advance. In the response to another Google reviewer, Excel Music states their policy is to provide mutual respect. However, Excel Music moved to virtual lessons because of COVID-19 - they asked for our support and we decided to continue to support them during this critical time.

They asked us to be flexible, but they can't reciprocate. Most importantly, the front desk coordinator didn't provide any empathy for our situation of having to leave out of state. She seemed surprised that I felt frustrated and sounded like she was reading off a script. It's my hope the owner of Excel Music sees this review because I have no confidence Cassidy shared my email with the owner. Here's my email: "Please cancel our membership.

We were asked to be flexible with Zoom lessons, but you guys can't be flexible with me cancelling under 24 hours and get a make up lesson. We had to head to Georgia for family reasons. Unfortunately, bringing a piano wasn't our priority. Thank you for being understanding. "

Take your business elsewhere if you want good service! You may be able to get a good instructor but he may leave in a few months, just when you are well adjusted and making progress. Then you are assigned to whichever instructor is available. Class cancellation policy is only in their favor. They MAY give you an available time slot but you have to call more than 24 hours before the lesson time. If you call even a few minutes less than 24 hours, you lose the class but still have to pay for it!

Disgusting the way they are taking advantage of people with everything going on right now. Edit: Oh I did reach out directly and was treated in a condescending manner. Your options would have still cost me money or would have been too late. I was taking lessons to help with an audition and wedding. Postponing them would have helped nothing. I was told if the web lessons would not work to let the office know.

I called the day before with like a 16 or 20 hour notice canceling. There was no mention that I would lose that lesson until after the fact. You can try to intimidate and make your excuses, but we both know your wrongdoing. Go take your side of the story somewhere where someone might believe it.

Condescending receptionist. I called three times for six weeks just to get my child signed up to start lessons! We finally confirmed lessons and she wanted me to pay for the first lesson a week in advance. That's fine. However, she then said, "All future payments will have to come off of this exact card" and refused to understand that sometimes people have more than one account/card that they use.

She literally refused the first payment. The receptionist literally prevented an elementary child from starting music lessons. This is the 21st Century; customers can switch their payment card if they choose to. Very condescending receptionist who is a clear barrier to lessons.
