My son has been a student since 2018 and has no plans of stopping. He takes lessons throughout the year and it's been a great experience for us but especially him. Almost 4 yrs now and going strong!

I am less than novice and I really enjoyed my experiences with the owner and his staff. Talented, completely helpful, such a variety of instruments and merch in stock, and he quickly tuned and conditioned my bass on-site! This is my music shop!

The "rooms" are smaller than broom closets and the teacher isn't interested in teaching. It's a very cold atmosphere, unwelcoming.

I am not a musician. I would, however, like to learn how to play the fiddle. I walked into this place and sheepishly started looking around. I am one of those people that would really prefer to not be helped in a store, but judging the quality of a musical instrument is over my head, so I was pretty sure that there was no way to reasonably avoid assistance.

Lucky for me, the owner was an extremely nice person with a no rush, no nonsense approach to explaining both his available instruments and services (such as lessons for the clueless beginner or installation of fine tuners). Furthermore, Dracut Music Center is more than happy to special order anything that is not currently available in the small but very well stocked store.

When I did make a selection, he carefully talked me through some of the basics to ensure that I understood what I was getting myself into. His extra time and care have definitely won my allegiance.
