Darlington Arts Center offers the unique opportunity to work with a variety of professional musicians, visual artists, dancers, and actors all under one roof. All Teaching Artists have background checks, hold degrees, and work professionally in their field. Join our team providing Education, Exploration and Inspiration in an environment where teaching artists are valued and arts education is central to our mission to serve the cultural needs of our diverse community.
In addition to private lessons, Darlington offers ensemble classes, group enrollment, and music workshops for students of all ages and backgrounds, including Music Theory, Beginner Guitar, Voice Class, Suzuki Violin, and more. In accordance with Garnet Valley School District transportation policies, Garnet Valley students may take the bus directly from schools for any 4:00pm Afterschool Arts Club classes. The health of our students and staff at Darlington are of utmost importance. Ages: 7-12, Mondays, 4:00-5:00 p.m.
Let your creativity take center stage! At Darlington, Drama students explore theirimagination, gain skills and have fun. Ourexperienced, supportive teaching artists willhelp you or your child discover the actor withinyou and gain confidence. Classes focus onthe process of acting or musical theatre, and performances are presented at the end of each semester for family and friends. A Play in a Day workshops are offered throughout the year. Students will create an original play or musical, create sets and costumes, and perform in front of their family and friends all in one day!

Darlington's Summer Arts Camps inspirestudents ages 3-14 to think creatively about the world around them and express themselves through the visual andperforming arts. Enjoy fun in the sun with our spectacular summer-themed half-day camp designed just for our youngest campers! Using the 4 Arts, you will delight in a beach-themed dance party, sing summer songs, go on a make-believe camping adventure, make sand art and more! You will be ready in no time for our full week summer camps. Projects in each session will be unique.
As a non-profit community arts center, we rely on tax deductible contributions to support our operations, provide scholarships to students in need and provide opportunities for under-served students through Outreach programs in Chester and West Chester.
