Darlington is a place that welcomes your creative spark. For over 40 years, we have existed to provide you, our community, with arts appreciation and enrichment right in your backyard. We are here to inspire wonder, nurture creativity and talent, and develop your artistic skills through classes and lesson in the visual and performing arts.
Darlington Arts Center was founded and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) in 1978 by Diana Sophocles Hemmenway based on a unique vision: to include all four arts disciplines - music, visual arts, dance, and drama - in one facility with an emphasis on multi-disciplinary programming. In fact, Darlington was the first community arts center in the state of Pennsylvania to offer the four arts under one roof. For over 40 years, the programming possibilities and opportunities have been extensive and innovative.

I can't say enough great things about Darlington. The teachers and staff all have arts backgrounds and a passion to teach. My daughter absolutely loves her classes and is making so much progress. It's a top notch organization that's also affordable. Thanks Darlington! Our family appreciates you sooo much!
