I have been a student of Dan's for 3 years. I have always loved the piano and decided in my retirement to finally take lessons. It has been a wonderful experience! Dan is very patient, focused and flexible. He always listens carefully to what I would like to accomplish and tries very hard to help me make this happen. I think it really helps that his lifes' work is that of an accomplished musician and teacher and thus has no extraneous issues with which to deal.His enthusiasm for music in general and piano in particular inspires me to try to do my best. I wholehearedly recommend Dan to anyone who is interested in playing the piano, whether just for personal pleasure or for reaching more lofty goals.
