Angie Green

Guitar Instructor

I've been teaching guitar for close to two decades. I've been in several regional bands, recorded 2 original albums & various demos. While teaching at West Music, I've also developed & taught group guitar courses for Kirkwood Community College. Previously I've worked full time for Sam Ash & West Music. My influences include a strong background in classic rock, acoustic rock, 80s, and classical guitar. My method teaches sight reading, music theory, TAB, chord strumming, and improvisation, as well as learning the student's favorite songs. Each student progresses at own pace, and a heavy dose of fun & laughter are included free with each lesson!

Customer Testimonials

Angie is a great guitar instructor. She is patient, fun and knowledgeable. I would recommend her for any age. I am an adult student taking bass lessons.

From Our Website

I played music with Angie regularly for nearly six years. Angie is a talented guitarist and natural leader. As a drummer, I can attest that her rhythm is rock solid. She is a technical guitar player who understands music theory at a high level, but also excels at playing by ear. As the founding member and leader of our band, Angie was organized and always came well prepared to rehearsals. She was a great mentor with regard to both the technical side and the business side of playing music. Angie gave guitar lessons to myself and my spouse.
