Services
CMC is a program of Portland Parks & Recreation in partnership with the nonprofit Community Music Center, Inc. It has been a popular place for music lessons and concerts in Portland since 1955, and is now one of over 20 PP&R sites offering music instruction. It is also part of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts.
Give the precious gift of music! Make a cash donation now to the Annual Fund Drive and make music lessons available to those who otherwise would go without. In-Kind Donations - please use our online donation request form. We suggest you give a cash donation along with certain in-kind donations (such as instruments) to help us off-set costs of processing the items.
CMC adds to the rich variety of live performances in Portland. Our David C. Campbell Recital Hall is a space for local and touring musicians to rent for rehearsals, informal recordings, and performance. Kitchenette w/ restaurant-style coffee maker (food or drink in the lobby only, however - not in the concert hall itself).

I have went there to learn piano. The teacher is nice, and there is always a recital near the end of the term.
