Columbus Music and Art Academy offers the award-winning Columbus International Children's Choir, art classes, music theory classes, and singing lessons for kids ages 4-18 from Greater Columbus, Ohio. The academy is also the home of Central Ohio Singing Competition. Our mission is to empower children through high-quality music and art education. Our staff is a team of enthusiastic professionals who enjoy teaching children. Their expertise and dedication help us develop age-specific music and art programs for youth.

Choir, art classes, music theory and singing lessons for children and youth from Columbus, Dublin, Powell, Bexley, Gahanna, Galena, Galloway, Grove city, Hilliard, Lewis Center, New Albany, Reynoldsburg, Upper Arlington, Worthington, Westerville, and other Central Ohio communities.
Columbus International Children's Choir won the World Choir Games. The choir performed in The White House for President Obama and First Lady., in Carnegie Hall, St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican, on the Great Wall of China. The choir performed in Twisted 2 in the Ohio Theatre with BalletMet, Columbus Symphony and Opera Columbus.
Columbus Music and Art Academy offers drawing and painting art classes for children ages 5-18 from Columbus, Dublin, Hilliard, Powell, Upper Arlington, Worthington, Westerville, and other Central Ohio communities. Our art classes teach students correct drawing and painting techniques, line movement, shading, proportions, composition, and color concepts.
Columbus Music and Art Academy offers courses in Music Theory, Harmony and Ear Training, and Sight Singing. Most students choose to participate in the Royal Conservatory Certificate Program by taking the theory exam following the class. Our Music Theory students have consistently performed exceptionally well on these exams.

As a student who, throughout middle and high school, went through the choir and music classes, the experiences and opportunities I was presented with as a result of the academy were incredible. Touring around the world to sing in choir competitions and in famous venues, all while constantly improving musically and making great friends.

I sang in the CICC and took art classes at CMA for over a decade. From traveling all over the world and making lifelong friends, it was one of the best experiences of my life. Oh and it was also a world class musical education - how many kid's choirs get to sing in front of the President of the United States or on the Great Wall of China or to win the World Choir Games? Highly recommend!

I highly recommend this academy to families who are looking for professional, caring, and highly acclaimed musicians and instructors to teach your children music. Not only did my three daughters receive solid music theory and numerous high-profile performance opportunities; but they were surrounded by rich cultural diversity within the choir that broadened their worldview.
