Regina Ziliani

In 1988, Regina Ziliani accepted her first piano student. Since that time she has maintained large, successful piano studios in Spartanburg, SC, San Jose, CA and Charlotte, NC. Within 6 months of moving to Charlotte, Regina had a full studio and waiting list. In her home studio, she taught as many as 84 students per week. It was clear that south Charlotte needed more opportunities for quality musical instruction, and therefore she created Charlotte Academy of Music.

Customer Testimonials

My daughter is currently in Violin Camp and she wakes up early every morning because she is so excited. We wanted to try this camp to make sure that this was something our daughter would stick with. She has learned so much this week. After 4 straight days of camp she is still asking for Lessons and is keeping her dream of being like Lindsay Sterling one day. The entire staff is friendly and organized. This program has been a great start to my daughter's musical future. Next step lessons...... Thank you CAM

My sons (10 and 12) started piano and guitar lessons at CAM two years ago and they are both thriving. They love their teachers and the music education they are receiving, as well as opportunities to compete and perform. Summer camps are top notch too, both have attended multiple camps over the last 2 summers. Can't say enough positive things about CAM and what it has meant to my family!

Charlotte Academy of Music is more than just a place to take music lessons. It is a community of students, musicians and families who value and foster the educational and developmental benefits of music and the arts.

My daughter Olivia has been taking classes through CAM Club. She has always loved music and theatre and these classes have been wonderful. Today she performed for her theatre class and it was amazing!! She has become so happy and full of "drama". We look forward to doing it again.

From Our Website

Our greatest joy at CAM is equipping our students, through the arts, to have happy, fulfilling lives. Families are invited to choose between in person lessons at CAM or online lessons. We look forward to seeing you soon! Sometimes staying focused on your musical aspirations can be a challenge. The Compass Achievement Program at CAM will inspire you all year long with lots of encouragement, attainable goals, and sweet rewards! CAM Owner and Executive Director, Regina Ziliani, recently recorded this special message for our CAM family.

Our website provides an excellent overview of the programs offered at Charlotte Academy of Music. However, the intangibles, those things that color and enliven our programs, cannot be sufficiently described in print. The caliber, the exuberance and skill of our faculty, the joy and natural progress in our classes and summer camps, the commitment to music theory and a deeper understanding of music, the multitude of performance opportunities, access to guest composers and clinicians in master classes and so much more - these are what need to be experienced directly.

Summer Camps are among the most popular in Charlotte! That's because our camps are not just fun; they help build creativity, confidence and critical thinking. Whether your child is a quiet "behind the scenes" player or an outgoing "center stage" star, this is the place to nurture their talent!

I highly recommend Charlotte Academy of Music. CAM offers a variety of lessons for the novice, those pursuing music as a career and all of those in between. Calvin and Eli have been with CAM since before their preschool days and have progressed through their piano studies over the last 10 years. Regina, the director, is very personable. My name is Sarah Austin and in the fall of 2018 I will be attending North Carolina State University as a freshman studying polymer and color chemistry. This accomplishment, I.

Program for intermediate through advanced piano students which includes special workshops, competitions, and more.
