From Our Website
Founded in 1964, Bloomingdale School of Music is dedicated to the belief that music changes lives and everyone should have access to high-quality music education regardless of economic status, race, religion, ability level, or gender. Bloomingdale School of Music is a music-driven community center where all are welcome to join and learn about music from top faculty. We are dedicated to our mission - to make music education accessible to all who want to learn - and remain focused on supporting this mission through our values.
Bloomingdale music classes for kids (in grades K-12) offer opportunities to learn keyboard, violin, percussion, guitar, flute, ukulele, and voice. The classes are designed to help students learn and enjoy the basics before transitioning to more advanced or private study. Basic instrument instruction is offered to children (K-12) in a group setting. As students continue their musical studies, they can join advanced courses, begin private lessons, or join music ensembles. Private lessons are a great option for students who want or need a customized learning path.
