We are a music camp for strings and woodwind players ages 5 to 13 years old. Our Camp will be held at Sunset Presbyterian Church off HWY 26, in Portland Or. August 13 to 17, 2012. Kimberly Mish and Christine Goodner
Kimberly Mish has been teaching private woodwind, strings and piano for over 20 years. She graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney in 1994 with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. There she completed her a double major on Flute and Violin and was awarded her Teaching Endorsement for grades K-12. Her college student teaching included instructing String Programs for K-12 students in Grand Island Nebraska as well as General Music Education classes for K-6.
Mrs. Mish currently teaches in her private studio in Hillsboro. She love teaching and feels it is a blessing to be able to share the love of music with her students.
Mrs. Christine Goodner started playing violin as a Suzuki student at the age of three and studied violin & viola through college. She teaches violin and viola full time to students from ages 4 to adult.
Christine has taught on the faculty of the Community Music Center and Valley Catholic Music School, as well as Northwest Chamber Camp at The Catlin Gabel School. She is an active member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, American String Teachers Association and has served on the board of Oregon's Suzuki Association (OSA) where she remains an active member. Her goal is to develop excellent musicians and for her students to develop a life long love of music.
