Bedford Academy of Music offers private instrumental and voice lessons, group lessons, theater classes, and summer camps. Children as young as four can start in a fun-filled introduction to instrument playing in the "Little Stars" class. Adults can start lessons or refresh their skills in a supportive environment. Private lessons are complimented by theory and chamber music classes. Students are encourage and prepared to participate in NYSSMA, local and school orchestras, bands and performances.

We offer affordable rates, scholarships and discounts to families as well as free trial lessons.

Summer Program at the Bedford Academy of Music $300/two weeks This summer the Bedford Academy of Music will offer workshops dedicated to theater and music. The Musical Theater Workshop for children in K -8 is a performance-oriented program. Children will work on mastering vocal /acting technique, choreography, dialogue, creating sets for the show. The workshop will conclude with a staged production of “Free to Be You and Me”. The Chamber Music Workshop is for intermediate/advanced instrumentalists who are looking to collaborate with other musicians. Daily coaching sessions, rehearsals, and theory classes will culminate in a gala recital $300/two-week session, Monday- Friday, 9am-3pm. Musical Theater: July 5-16. Chamber Music: July 19-30.
