Customer Testimonials

Testimonial from Julie

Asbury Arts Center is such an exceptional studio. Knowing that the training is top-notch, I feel ready to take on the world. I love it so much that I end up taking as many classes as humanly possible! This year I take ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop and another form of expression: piano!

Testimonial from Brianna

I love AAC because when I lose my confidence, it helps me find it. I am in the Prism Dance Company. I am here about 8.5 hours/week and I never get enough!

Testimonial from Madison

AAC lets me express myself in the way that I want; a physical dancer and a person wanting to succeed. I love being in the company here and everything about AAC makes me feel like it's my 2nd family.

My daughter is 6 and love this place. She takes 1 dance class now but, she loves it so much we are going to 2 classes a week now. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and is always there to help. Thanks!!!

Love Asbury Arts! My son was in Rockin Tots and has cried every week when I tell him he has to wait until August to start up again! I shopped around as I had danced from 2-17 and am so glad I found a place that Hunter enjoys so much and they are super patient with his rambunctious little self.

Our 3 year old has been going here for over a year now. She started with the Rockin Tots class and is now in Ballet Stars. The teachers are amazing! So patient and great with the little ones!

From Our Website

Asbury Arts Center - North Florida Dance Center has been serving the Green Cove Springs, Orange Park and Middleburg communities since 2005. We offer a variety of dance, tumbling and music classes in a safe and friendly atmosphere. We have 2 seasons at our studio; a school year session and a separate 6 week summer session including classes and camps. Such a fantastic arts center/dance studio! I drive 20 minutes to go to this studio even though there are several within 5 minutes of my house. Positive, fun and nurturing environment.

Lorna Edwards is our studio manager. She is originally from Savannah, GA and has been dancing since the age of 4. Miss Lorna began studying to become a dance teacher at the age of 12 and has trained in multiple disciplines including, but not limited to, ballet, pointe, tap, hip hop, jazz, contemporary, and modern. Lorna has been in several productions with Columbia City Ballet, was part of an advertisement flash mob for Lindt Chocolate, and was formerly a member of the tap dance company Noise Complaint.

Being a part of the North FL Dance Center's award-winning dance competition team/company is an experience of a lifetime! Our competition class students make life-long friendships and wonderful memories while gaining self-esteem, leadership and problem solving skills, as well as the value of having a good work ethic. Our dance company takes part in extra performances during the year at local festivals and community outreach events. We also attend special dance workshops, compete in 2-3 springtime competitions and showcase our talents in the end of the year recital!

School year session students also have the option to perform in our end of the year music recital. It is an amazing experience to see all of their talents and confidence grow from year to year. Please call us today if you would like more information about lesson times or availability.

We offer group classes and private lessons in both our school year and summer sessions. From creative movement for toddlers to pre-professional classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern and acrobatic dance we have something for everyone! Our dance students train in one of our three dance studio rooms fully equipped with marley sprung dance flooring, ballet barres, and special tumbling equipment. During the school year, our dance students learn new techniques and skills during the fall semester and then begin choreography for their end of the school year session recital held at the Thrasher Horne Center of Performing arts.
