As the owner of Artist Pianos, I hope your visit with us is fun and relaxed and that you enjoy being served by our professional and courteous staff. Representing STEINWAY & SONS is truly a dream come true for me, personally, because they are the finest pianos in the world and we have always strived to provide the best possible service to our customers. Our management team, Paul Jennings and Scott Schroeter, each have over 20 years experience serving every facet of the piano business. They take pride in their work and you can count on them to give you honest advice, with no pressure to buy, and thoughtful, professional service.

Only Artist pianos provides NEW, GENUINE STEINWAY & SONS rental pianos in the Greater Capital Region and Syracuse. When performance matters, do not be fooled by "rebuilt" imitators. If you require more than one piano or anything that is not listed on the form, please inform us in the notes section.

Are you a piano tuner or technician who has recently moved to the area? Or are you interested in learning piano technology? The Piano Technicans Guild meets at our stores each month and we can connect you with the most advanced training in the world at the Steinway Factory. Give us a call or use the form below to ask a question or add yourself to our email list.

Artist Pianos uses and recommends only the best professional movers, who are fully insured and care about moving your piano safely. Because we have seen so many people after they have suffered a financial loss by making a bad purchase, in recent years, we have become more proactive in helping our clients protect themselves.

We are always on the lookout for good used pianos to offer our customers. Once you submit the form below, we will get back to you with a price range in which we would expect your piano to fall. If the range sounds good to you, we will set an appointment to inspect your piano. If your piano passes the inspection, we will make an offer for your piano. From there the process is very easy: our professional movers pick up the piano and hand you a check for the agreed upon amount.

Book your next student recital at Artist Pianos. We make it easy! We set up and break down the chairs, tune the piano, provide everything you need to treat your students and their families to a performance on the Steinway concert grand piano.

Pianos last a long time, but they do not last forever. Most pianos have a musical life of about 40 years. If your piano does not hold a tune or several keys do not work, it may be time to say farewell. It is better to dispose of your piano than to pass it on to a student who may not succeed because the piano will not teach her to recognize proper pitch or train her fingers to play with proper technique.
