Great school! The teachers are remarkable. Gus & Bruce are so great I can see the development over the years in our kids musically!

First off, let me knock the major pro out of the way: the staff is very friendly. The owner, Gus, is a really friendly person, as well as the teachers there. Now to the reason I give this a one-star: I am aspiring to be a great singer one day, but the lessons only made my voice worse. My voice teacher (Miss Grace) taught me only some of the proper techniques: good breathing, raising your soft palette, etc.

But she wasn't alert of the one thing all singers must avoid: vocal strain. Which basically damages your voice the more you do it. For four months of taking these lessons, I was singing in my upper range with vocal strain, and I didn't even know I was straining my voice. My school choir teacher was the first to warn me that I was actually still straining and overall using poor technique.

Soon I asked some other students who were also taking voice lessons if they could tell I was straining my voice. They said with affirmation that I was. Shortly afterward, I decided to quit Apollo and join another area for voice lessons nearby. Now in high school I got stuck in the same choir for next year, while the majority of others move up in some way.

My voice development is going to take even longer now due to quarantines as a result of COVID-19. I noticed a loss of half an octave in vocal range possible due to the poor technique. Where I want to be by my senior year of high school now seems completely out of reach. I know other people have different experiences with this place, but on my part, it's hard to give it a good review, especially since I am taking these lessons really seriously.

Great place to learn music with a variety of instruments to choose from (vocal too). The teachers really seem to care about the students. Fairly cheap for great quality

My kids learn the piano here with Ms Lisa. They love it, they play very well and the younger one now picks his own songs (simple ones) which he reads off sheets and plays. I buy guitar strings from here too. They have recitals on site at which one can listen to all budding stars strut their stuff. Owner (Gus Gotsis) is affable man who is passionate about his business of teaching music.
