Ali Akbar College Of Music Some of Indian classical music's brightest performers are joining together to celebrate Maestro Ali Akbar Khan's 100th birthday. These performances will be hosted online by the Ali Akbar College of Music-a non-profit organization seeking to spread the teachings of this ancient tradition to any and all who wish to learn. The most direct way to support this institution is to become a member by donating directly to the college. Your funds will be involved in every aspect of the college and its ongoing programs. The AACM Instrumental Scholarships have been created to provide funding to students showing great promise and dedication in the art of North Indian classical instrumental music. The scholarships cover partial to full tuition for one eight-week session. The classes are taught by Alam Khan, son of the late legendary Sarode Maestro Ali Akbar Khan.
The AACM Tabla Scholarships have been created to provide funding to students showing great promise and dedication. Each student will receive one term of study through AACM free of charge. Grantees will be allowed to take classes beginning at the start of our next session - Summer Session - or the following Fall Session, 2019.

Incredible music school! The director and the teachers are very comprehensive, empathetic and patient. They continue the tradition of the great maestro Ustad Ali Akbar Khan.

Musicians Mall - the old AACM store is also an excellent resource for instruments, .now located in Berkeley with the same management. Purchased my Hiren Roy vocal Tambura there about 15 years ago, its held up well and sounds great.
