Born in Mexico City, Mr. Aguilar graduated from the prestigious American School Foundation and attended Juniata College in Huntington, PA, the newly formed Conservatory in Toluca, Edo. de Mexico, and The University of North Texas, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Winner of the Ricordi "Panhuehuetl" competition in 1984, twice winner of the Cecil Wallace & Joan Berding award in Dallas in '86 and '87. Master classes with Baltazar Benitez, Adam Holzman, and Rodrigo Rodriguez. Presently teaching over 85 private students in McKinney, TX.
